This is a disease[Multiple sclerosis] characterized by destruction of the integrity of the nervous system, especially the neurons and the covering sheath that protects them, the myelin sheath.

Most of the times when it happens, it happens for unknown reasons at large but as usual people tend to believe that it is some chemicals and environmental or genetic derangements. But as usual Sure has an explanation regarding to societal beliefs. And this belief is the belief in God. Yes God beliefs.

People who believe in no God in any way are more susceptible to suffer from this disorder. This is because as I have said earlier that the way we live and believe about the universe becomes the way we live and believe as humans [civilization]. And this is transferred into the way our cells live and believe in our bodies. If one does not believe that there is a master of this universe, the Creator, God, The designer of all this. Call it anything but refer to the Almighty that we and all the natures created things serves. If one does not believe that, have no faith or idea of some sort. Chances are even their bodies cells will have the same faith and leading to ignoring whatever the brain or nervous system is telling them (remember it is[nervous sys.] the executive). In the end various mechanisms will lead to the pathophysiology and lesions as seen in MS. Again I don’t say that MS is a disease of atheists only. No. Any belief that is within those lines, whether is doubting, or believing in erroneous way of how God is is risky. For example thinking that God does guess, uses probability or is uncertain with his own reasoning that is unreasonable to us most of the times[Personally I believe if you are discerning of his purpose you will appreciate the high Wisdom]. All these leads one to think that the universe is uncertain and anything happens purposelessly, so may lead on to MS, cancers and other chaos in the bodies.

So faith in God may be a way to recover and effect cure from MS, paralysis and all other diseases.

Try finding the true God, because beware! Because HE IS WHAT HE IS. So there is a tendecy to mould HIM to become as He is who you think He Is. If you decide to make a random one, man that is up to you. Since it doesnt matter by what name you call God but what properties you ascribe to that god. To find the real one ask healthy people. Ask healthy Islams, ask healthy Christians, ask healthy Rastafarians, Budhas, Hindus, Healthy scientists. The one you will get after your own research, worship Him because after all religion is always between a person and God. In all those you must find the living God worth worshipping but I implore you to never, never exist without One.
